Orco Bank Closer to the Community: Celebrates Curaçao's Flag Day by Partnering with Local Cultural Organizations

Orco Bank, a proud supporter of the Curaçao community, celebrated Curaçao's 40th Flag Day by partnering with two significant celebrations that took place on July 2nd, 2024. This year, Orco Bank was closer to the community of Curaçao by sponsoring these events, emphasizing its role as a committed community partner.

This year, Orco Bank partnered with Fundashon Kultural Banda Bou and Fundashon Bisiñanan Kontentu den Bònt, both organizations dedicated to creating high-quality Flag Day experiences that celebrate Curaçao's rich culture, heritage, and national pride.

Fundashon Kultural Banda Bou hosted a vibrant cultural program at Parke Himno i Bandera in Barber, featuring local music, performances, and a festive atmosphere. They expressed their appreciation for Orco Bank's partnership; “It’s for many years that we celebrate Dia di Bandera in Banda Bou to bring the festivities to every part of the island and we are glad to see Orco Bank join this year to make the celebrations even greater as we celebrate the 40th edition of Dia di Bandera here in Barber” said Mr. Elfrin Basilio President of Fundashon Kultural Banda Bou.

Fundashon Bisiñanan Kontentu den Bònt: A Tradition of Community Impact
Fundashon Bisiñanan Kontentu den Bònt also acknowledged the significance of Orco Bank's support. “The community of den Bònt is happy to see Orco Bank return another year to celebrate Dia di Bandera with us, closer to our community and our culture," said Mrs. Xiomara Quan, President of Fundashon Bisiñanan Kontentu den Bònt.
